Released in June 1985 from the album "Two Heart Harmony, it reached #26.
Hux's 2012 two-fer pairs two LPs from the father-daughter country duo the Kendalls. First is 1985's Two Heart Harmony, one of their more popular records, and second is 1990's Thank God for the Radio, a collection of hit singles from their time at Mercury. It's a little odd to have a two-fer contain a studio LP and a compilation, but the end result is a collection that captures the Kendalls at their commercial peak and therefore is useful to casual fans.

The Kendalls: 16 Greatest. has been added to your Cart. They were the last commercial-country duet rooted wholly in traditional harmony styles, and that alone makes this one a long-overdue keeper. Disc: 1. Heaven's Just A Sin Away. 3. It Don't Feel Like Sinnin' To Me. 4. Pittsburgh Stealers. This is the album that I found to have most of the Kendalls best hits. I really like their material.
It was the Kendalls' second single on Ovation, a "cheating" song called "Heaven's Just a Sin Away," that proved to be their breakthrough. The song topped the country charts, was a minor crossover pop hit, and won the 1978 Grammy for Best Country Vocal by a Duo or Group. Subsequent hits included "Just Like Real People," "It Don't Feel Like Sinnin' to Me," "Sweet Desire," "You'd Make an Angel Want to Cheat," and a cover of Dolly Parton's "Put it Off Until Tomorrow. In the early 1990s The Kendalls built a supper club in Gulf Shores, Alabama, which featured nightly performances by them; the club closed down two years later. Afterward, they began performing in Branson, Missouri, where the two families had built homes next door to each other.
Career Formed in 1969, The Kendalls recorded an album for Stop Records, from which a single, a cover of John Denver's "Leaving on a Jet Plane" (previously a hit for Peter, Paul & Mary) was released in 1970, which just narrowly missed the top fifty on the . The Kendalls were a . country music duo, which had a number of hits during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
