There is some question on the Schoof track. Mats Gustafsson has claimed it is Parker and Bennink. The usual tenor saxophonist for this group at the time was Gerd Dudek and to me it sounds more like Dudek (I have everything this band recorded). If it is Evan Parker, his playing is uncharacteristic for this vintage and sounds even cleaner and more confident than a year or two later with Broetzmann and Tony Oxley (cf. 1967 recs with John Stevens). Sven-Åke Johansson is clearly the drummer - that is unquestionably the case.

I totally agree! It really sounds like dudek and not parker.

Agree about Johansson! Lots of those tidy time-based patterns here that he also plays on the "For Adolphe Sax"-LP for example. Also agree about Dudek. Here's some insistent chromatic little phrases in the sax solo with that "blurred" articulation that I'd associate with Dudek's playing from that area. I think Parker by late '67 already started to develop that "perforated" articulation which has made him so unique. So this to me sounds like the sextet on the Wergo-LP minus Liebezeit.
