The Warner/Reprise Sessions: The Electric Prunes & Pride.
Evidently, all parties involved, including the band, agreed that this project would propel the Electric Prunes from minor-league garage rockers into a finely tuned psychedelic ensemble to be taken seriously as musicians and artists. Unfortunately, the Prunes were not prepared to tackle Axelrod's complex and involved arrangements without a major struggle.

Mass in F Minor may also refer to: Mass No. 3, or Mass in F Minor, WAB 28, by Anton Bruckner (first performed 1872). Mass in F Minor by Josef Schnabel (1767–1831). He joined The Electric Prunes in 1966, and played on their debut studio album, The Electric Prunes, and two hit singles, before being replaced by Michael Weakley during recording of the band's second album, Underground, in 1967. He was also involved with Linda Ronstadt, The Beach Boys, and Dobie Gray.
The Electric Prunes, sometimes referred to as I Had Too Much to Dream (Last Night), is the 1967 debut album by the American garage rock band, the Electric Prunes, released on Reprise Records. The first track, "I Had Too Much to Dream (Last Night)", was a hit and became the band's signature tune. The album also contains another notable psychedelic rock composition, "Get Me to the World on Time". The album was listed in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
Loved Mass in F Minor from the moment I heard it when it first came out. Very hard to find decent religious music and I was happy with this album. I hoped it would start a trend but "Christian Rock" really went south. This is an interesting album, primarily because most of it is performed by The Collectors, who were a much better band than the Electric Prunes. Published on November 30, 2014. I just like, raised on Mass nothing like this. Published on August 8, 2014.

Mass in F Minor was released in January 1968 and reached number 135 on the Billboard 200. Photos of the band appeared on the back of the record sleeve, though with the band's previous guitarist James 'Weasel' Spagnola shown, rather than Gannon. Mercifully, this all ended and as we were leaving a few 'fans' said, 'We didn't know you guys were into avant-garde jazz.
