Let’s Go!, their sixth release of 1963, is not one of The Ventures iconic albums. And while there’s a stiffness to several of the songs, and there are backing vocals, what this album represents is three things. 1st: It’s that point when what was young and hip grow older, and The Ventures, like so many others, made the decision to follow a path to the comfortable, unoffensive, well healed adults, and not for the visionary dreamers.
