Back In Black, performed by Brian Johnson and Muse at Reading Festival, 2017 In memory of Malcolm Young, rhythm guitarist for AC/DC and co-writer of Back I. .
Brian Francis Johnson (born 5 October 1947) is an English singer and songwriter. In 1980, he became the third lead singer of the Australian rock band AC/DC, after the death of their second lead singer Bon Scott. He and the rest of the band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. In March 2016, Johnson stepped down from touring on the Rock or Bust World Tour due to hearing problems.
AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson recorded vocals for a song on Jim Breuer’s upcoming rock album, the comedian giddily revealed during an interview on SiriusXM’s Opie and Jim Norton Show. Breuer delivered his dead-on impression of Johnson throughout the story, relaying his grumblings about drummer Phil Rudd - who recently pleaded guilty to drug charges and threatening to kill a former assistant - and casual, masterful recording process. This isn’t the first time Breuer and Johnson have collaborated: When the rocker appeared on Breuer Unleashed (the old name of his SiriusXM show Fridays with Jim Breuer) the comedian and his band prepped a cover of AC/DC’s Rock N’ Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution. Johnson gladly assisted on the vocals, and in return Breuer later joined him onstage for a performance of his AC/DC hokey-pokey bit. In This Article: AC/DC, Brian Johnson.
com Brendan Healy brought so much joy, laughter and music to our lives and his passing has left a huge void. It’s so very sad that his brilliant wit,his comic genius and generous heart are gon.ath the stairs in our home composing music on the piano together. into the wee hours of the mornin.
Comedian Jim Breuer promised "some pretty heavy names" for his upcoming "hard-rockin' metal" album, and he wasn't kidding - as he revealed during a recent Opie Radio interview, AC/DC singer Brian Johnson is one of his guests. I'll tell you how freaking awesome this guy is," enthuses Breuer. He comes in the studio and we let him listen to the first couple songs. he says, 'F--, I'm gonna go and have a and readjust. After his smoke, Johnson returned, at which point Breuer and Caggiano told him they were ready for him in the studio whenever he wanted to track his vocals. He goes, 'F--, I ain't going in there. I wanna do it right here in the f--ing board room. See AC/DC and Other Rockers in the Top 100 Albums of the '70s. You Think You Know AC/DC? Next: Top 50 AC/DC Songs.

Brian Johnson has made his first recorded appearance since leaving AC/DC earlier this year due to hearing problems. The singer appears on the Greg Billings Band’s track Old Friends Don’t Come Easy, the latest in a long series of collaborations between Johnson and Billings, who has been a fixture on the Florida music scene since the early Eighties. The song is featured on the group’s upcoming album, Boom Boom All Night! which also includes a guest appearance from Cheap Trick frontman Robin Zander

With AC/DC rescheduling tour dates due to Brian Johnson's hearing loss, here's a look at 10 essential Johnson-era tracks. It could be argued that putting a song called "Have a Drink on Me" on your first album back after losing your singer to a night of heavy drinking is a little insensitive. But anyone expecting sensitivity from AC/DC by the time they got to "Back in Black" just wasn't paying attention. It's a loud, proud tribute to their fallen comrade.
