I would say its easily worth it if are running out of obscure 60s pop music. The sound itself is mostly pleasant with a decent use pf stereo imaging. You could wish it was a bit better recorded on parts like heavy vocals though since they can become a little rough around the edges.

Part of the whole Chicago late-60s psych scene alongside their similarly well-produced Dunwich stablemates . Lovecraft, The Troll released a few near-hit singles before this album and that's sad, because there was a goodly bit of psychedelia that proba.

The Troll – Animated Music. Contrary to the expected, and most of their windy town neighbors of the time, this is a rather British sounding record, with just a hint or two to their native legacy

This album has its moments of brilliance just to comment on the musical content itself. You could wish it was a bit better recorded on parts like heavy vocals though since they can become a little rough around the edges. The bass too could go deeper in the spectrum but its still satisfying none the less.A pretty average sound effort of the times.Equipment Used:Rega RP1 with Nagaoka MP-200 CartridgeCyrus 2 AmplifierSystem Fidelity SF-3050 Tower SpeakersCustom made HQ Speaker Cables

I disagree with the other reviewer. There are many lps of the genre and period that are far worse. This one is kind of cool and better than most. check it out on yu tbe if you are worried

I have the original on "Smash." This is not an awesome album. It is mainly corny and overrated. The lyrics and concepts are dumb, and too much of the album sounds like typical 60s cliches. The last track is the best track but "I've Only Myself To Blame" is also one of the better songs. Skip most of it, if you paid money for this I bet you are disappointed.

Payed 20$ for mine. Just considering the price Im not disappointed at all, could easily gain money on it. But I think there is enough good music here actually.
