Johan Huizinga was a Dutch historian, professor, writer. Johan Huizinga was born on December 7, 1872, in Groningen, Netherlands. He was the son of Dirk Huizinga, a professor of physiology, and Jacoba Tonkens, who died two years after his birth. Trained as a linguist and a specialist in Sanskrit at the universities of Groningen and Leipzig, he received his doctorate in 1897. He became a high school teacher in Haarlem and a teacher of Indic studies in Amsterdam. His interests soon turned to the history of his own country, however, and in 1905 he published The Origins of Haarlem. The same year he was appointed professor at Groningen.

Former Motley Crue and current Dead Daisies singer John Corabi will release Live 94 (One Night in Nashville), a live album featuring solo performances of tracks from his only Motley Crue album. Corabi, who replaced Vince Neil in 1992, was part of the lineup that released the band's self-titled sixth album in 1994. By 1997 he’d been removed in favor of the returning Neil following record company pressure. The upcoming album, which will be released on Fe.
