Lots of hype about this album being the rebirth of the Hillage/Giraudy ambient sound of System 7 following Incantado. Don't get me wrong, there are some superbly mellow and confident tracks but I feel they have lost some of the verve of the Steve Hillage's gliss guitar riff which was the hallmark of Gong and the steady pulse of System 7.
