Kansas (Kansas album). 1974 studio album by Kansas. Cover painting by John Steuart Curry. Kansas is the debut studio album by American progressive rock band Kansas, released in 1974 by Kirshner in the United States and Epic Records in other countries. Kansas's debut album followed the merging of two Topeka musical camps: Kerry Livgren, from a previous Kansas line-up, and White Clover, which played mainstream rock and blues. The newly formed group signed with Kirshner Records in 1973 and traveled to New York to record their first release.

Masque is the third studio album by American progressive rock band Kansas. The album was released in October 1975 and was reissued in remastered format on CD in 2001. The album was again remastered and reissued on vinyl in 2014. The opening track, "It Takes a Woman's Love (To Make a Man)", was remixed for release as a single, but failed to gain attention. The remix included additional guest vocals and contains segments far different from the album version.
Vote for you favourite album by the band Kansas. This band has a very diverse and fulfilling set of albums that all have their own nostalgic, great feel. Quite possibly the best Kansas album (excluding compilations) throughout their 40+ year career. Notable songs include the Title track, The acoustic guitar ballad Dust in the Wind, the extremely underrated Paradox, the political comparison piece that was Sparks of the Tempest, the somewhat eerie Nobody's Home, and the slightly preachy but certainly true Hopelessly Human.
