Too Young (оригинал The Adicts). Слишком молод (перевод Костюк Тимофей из Санкт-Петербурга). Too young to smoke, Слишком молод, чтобы курить, Too young to drink, Слишком молод, чтобы пить, Too young to do most, anything ! Слишком молод, чтобы делать многое, что угодно! Too young to laugh, Слишком молод, чтобы смеяться, Too young to cry, Слишком молод, чтобы плакать. Too young to live and too, Слишком молод, чтобы жить. Too young to die. Слишком молод, чтобы умереть ! We're all too young. Мы все слишком молоды ! We're all to young
The album that saw U2 reclaim their place as world’s biggest rock band was also the moment at which they stopped looking forward and started strip-mining their past. The songs were better, too – the title track a proggish fever dream, live favourite Bad a stomper that balanced bombast and vulnerability (later Bono would err towards the former). More than that, however, The Unforgettable Fire is a final snapshot of U2 before mega-fame swooped in. Without the politicians hanging out of their pockets, or the vast heaving arenas, here they still have the vestiges of four ordinary guys from Dublin taking on the world.
Through My Eyes - The Creation. Ain't Got No Home - Clarence "Frogman" Henry. Shake Some Action - Flaming Groovies. You're Gonna Miss Me - The Spades. Liar Liar - The Castaways. In the Nighttime - The Strangeloves. Brand New Cadillac - Vince Taylor. You'd Better Move On - Arthur Alexander.
Too Young to Die" is the second single taken from British funk/acid jazz band Jamiroquai's debut studio album, Emergency on Planet Earth. The original version of the track runs at 10:18, however, both the single and album versions were cut, running at 3:22 and 6:05 respectively. The single peaked at on the UK Singles Chart. The commercial single includes all three versions of the track. The song's lyrics are about the fear of war and death due to political machinations
Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast Lyrics. Some people like to make all the rules And tell others what to do They make it their way so they always win And the others always lose Street gangs and madmen How they wage their private wars In bankers clothes their hearts are froze and Their wives hold hands with whores. I'll sit and spin for a little while If it's the end of days I'm goin' out in style. Too much, too young, too fast I'm gonna drink it up while it lasts Too much, too young, too fast I'm gonna tear it up so fill my glass. Too much I'm gonna drink it up Too fast yeah while it lasts. It is an album of big, colourful, attacking rock with fluid melodies, bright anthemic choruses and bold lyrical ideas. Perhaps the most surprising thing is that, despite apparently being created in a spirit of self-doubt, it sounds fresh and cohesive, bouncing out of the speakers with a youthful spring in its step. Lyrically, it is a celebration of the transformative power of music, and in particular the effect on the young U2 of hearing The Ramones, and in that spirit it keeps things simple and direct. There are songs about growing up on the north side of Dublin (the fierce and strange Raised By Wolves and the dense, somewhat ungainly Cedarwood Road), memories of Bono’s late mother (the chiming disco driving Iris (Hold Me Close)) and appreciations of musical inspirations (the loose, groovy This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now is dedicated to Joe Strummer
Ultimate Classic Rock ranks every U2 studio effort, from worst to best. From their start, the four members of U2 – Bono, the Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen, Jr. – have seemed to thrive on inciting reaction from their audience. Whether it's the band's outspoken political stance or their occasional stylistic transformations, U2 don't want to simply earn a cursory spot on your CD shelf as a greatest-hits compilation or 30-year-old record. They incite and inspire; they engage and enrage. That's all well and good, but what about the music?
